This beautiful kid's sweater was hand knit by Blarney Woolen Mills. This sweater was made in Ireland, the same as traditional Aran style sweaters that feature cable knit designs. These sweaters are also sometimes referred to as fisherman sweaters, as local legends used to claim that their cable knit patterns were linked to the families that made them, and sailors lost at sea could be identified by the unique knit of their sweater. This cozy wool sweater combines a few different knit patterns, including an open v stitch and a twist cable.
